1. Nature of Contribution

All contributions to The Jurist Legal Blog are voluntary and unpaid. Contributors are expected to provide high-quality, practical content on relevant legal topics, including significant cases and current legal trends.

2. Responsibilities of Contributors

Draft at least one article per month, following the provided editorial guidelines (The Jurist Editorial Guidelines). Suggest potential topics or legal cases for discussion and approval.
Identify and propose potential contributors, they may include senior legal professionals, junior professionals, or law students.

Collaborate with the editorial team for feedback and revisions, if necessary. 

Optionally suggest guest speakers or topics for the Monday Legal Podcast 

3. Editorial Standards

Content must be original, factual, and written with a focus on legal professionals and students.

Plagiarism or unverified information will not be tolerated.

4. Timeline and Commitment

Contributors should submit articles and proposals within agreed deadlines.

Participation is flexible, but contributors are encouraged to remain consistent for the blog's continuity and growth.

5. Team Structure

Each country will ideally have a team of three contributors.

Contributors are encouraged to collaborate and share insights to diversify the blog’s content.

6. Communication and Support

The editorial team is available to assist with topic selection, content review, and publishing - editorial@the-jurist.com

Regular check-ins will ensure alignment and progress.

7. Disclaimers

The Jurist retains the right to edit, publish, or withhold submitted content.

Contributors will receive due credit for their articles, but The Jurist retains copyright for published content.

By participating, contributors acknowledge and agree to these terms.
